The default email address extraction when uploading an email message is the SMTP address format: e.g. myname@mycompany.com, rather than mail-system-specific addresses with the type fields identifying the address format.
This setting allows you to revert back to the previous mail-system-specific format, if you change the value to 0, from the default 1.
